Old Town became a World Heritage site in 1997.
Old Town is filled with tourists, even in the off season.
Though there are souvenir shops and restaurants scattered throughout, the city has done well to preserve the look and feel of Old Town.
I spend much of a day in the centre courtyard, sitting on a bench reading and observing, absorbing the feel of Old Town, wondering what it may have been like to have been here when history was being made.
