A recently restored Bratislava Castle, old streets of cobblestone, buildings over two hundred years old in various states of disrepair, public art, fountains and statues, cafes, tourist shops, beautifully restored structures, outdoor tables with beer-drinking customers, the inevitable homeless people and graffiti, and an ambience of wonder and possibility.
